Screening Science

See those tiny wiggly shapes? Those aren't standard halftone dots.
We were printing white ink on kraft board and the fine detail wasn't holding up with a conventional round-dot screen. So we changed it. Swapped to a custom screening profile and the detail came right.
Most people don't know different screening patterns even exist. It's the kind of production decision that nobody notices, which is sort of the whole point.
