Flawless Facilitation

A whisky box with a voice recorder in the base. Press the button, talk, and the box holds onto it. Press play next time and the recording is still there.
The base is glossy black acrylic with a speaker, a recording chip, and LEDs tucked inside. While it's recording, the laser-etched waveform on the front glows. Getting the recording to save without wiping previous sessions was a proper headache on the programming side.
The sleeve is leather, hand-wrapped using old bookbinding techniques. Gold foiled on the outside, flocked on the inside. We went through a pile of gold finishes and button dome styles before anything stuck.
This was a Father's Day campaign. Keep Walking became Keep Talking. Electronics and old-school bookbinding in the same box. That's a weird week at the office.
